I love helping people along their path of health and happiness. Having been trained by Robert Detzler, the founder of the Spiritual Response Association in Olympia Washington, I am a certified national consultant for the SRA as well as a master dowser. I have found that there is no illness, injury or disease that does not have a spiritual root. Working with spiritual response therapy allows me to help people find new degrees of freedom to make great choices in life. What could be better?

Laci Garst

Licensed Esthetician

Laci uses an integrated approach to skin care that combines holistic and conventional methods for optimal results. Holistically, she understands that our skin is a reflection of our inner health, intimately connected to all major functions, including the immune, respiratory, circulatory, lymph, and neurotransmitter systems. In other words, caring for oneself on one or all of these levels will improve the health of the skin. Laci believes that skin care regimens work best when they are part of a healthy lifestyle supported by diet, exercise, and contemplative practice. Each of these factors helps to reconnect us with our natural rhythms, and have a profound effect on skin health. Conventionally, she understands that everyone has different skin (and different relationships to their skin). She believes that one’s beauty and skin care regimen should be flexible and evolve with one’s own needs, fluctuating with nature and life changes.

Laci received her esthetician certification from Emily Griffith Technical College and holds a Colorado license in Esthetics. She is a member of Associated Skin Care Professionals.  Laci also holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Women’s Studies from the University of Wyoming and The Ohio State University, with a concentration in women’s health.

Michaela Belland-Valdez

Licensed Massage Therapist

Western culture, where our bodies are concerned, is less oriented around true preventative healing than putting a Band-Aid on a problem seen as too big to fix. At the Denver School for Massage Therapy, Michaela was exposed to a balance of Eastern philosophies, as well as Western medicinal practices. The stark contrast between cultures inspired her to integrate both energetic and medically therapeutic benefits into her massage.
The vast majority of our work culture revolves around success, productivity, and determination. All of these things are important but too often we neglect our inner needs in favor of the dollar amount we make at the end of the day. As a result, we are less of ourselves, and are doing a disservice to our minds, bodies, and spirits. Michaela believes that by including your spiritual well-being in your health path, you can find more balance in all areas of your life, including relationships, sleep quality, even irritability and clarity of thought. With both Western and Eastern beliefs incorporated into her practice, Michaela has found ways to help clients in ways neither anticipated.
